Mystery Deepens After Man Found Dead in Uncompleted Building

An unidentified man has been found d£ad inside an uncompleted building in the Albishiri area of Chanchaga Local Government Area, Niger State.

A community leader, Dangana Abubakar, said residents discovered the body hanging inside the structure on Thursday morning.

He noted that this was the second time a d£ad body had been found in an uncompleted building within the area.

According to him, the identity of the deceased remains unknown, and he appealed to residents to remain calm while the matter is investigated.

Confirming the incident, the spokesman for the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, told a news correspondent that police received a report of the discovery at about 7am on Thursday.

He said preliminary observations suggest the case may be one of suicide.

He added that the Chanchaga Local Government Social Welfare Department has since been notified for necessary action, while investigations into the incident continue.
