No Government Can Give You True Peace, Oyedepo Declares

Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that no government can guarantee lasting peace for its people, noting that true peace can only be found in God.

Speaking during a church service in Warri, Delta State, Oyedepo urged believers not to rely on earthly institutions for inner peace, stressing that peace is a divine gift that only God can provide.

According to him, no government in the world can offer true peace, nor can it be found in material pursuits, insisting that only God can grant it.

He explained that while governments may provide security and governance, genuine peace of mind and lasting tranquillity ultimately come from a personal relationship with God.

His remarks came as he encouraged worshippers to deepen their faith and continually seek God’s presence in their daily lives.
