Soso Soberekon’s lavish wedding shakes Delta

It was a celebration of love, culture and grandeur as music executive and Chief Executive Officer of White Lion Global, Soso Soberekon, tied the knot with his heartthrob, Ebiere, in a series of lavish ceremonies that have become one of the year’s most talked-about celebrity weddings.
From the intimate engagement ceremony to the colourful traditional wedding in Benikrukru Community, Gbaramatu Kingdom, and the elegant white wedding and reception, the couple’s love story took centre stage.
Clips capturing their romantic journey were projected during the celebrations, showcasing tender moments from their courtship. Guests watched as the couple shared affectionate glances and danced lovingly, with the emotional display drawing cheers and tears from attendees who witnessed their transition from lovers to life partners.
The star-studded festivities reached a memorable peak with performances from top entertainers such as 2baba and Wande Coal. Gospel singer, Timi Dakolo, serenaded the newlyweds with a soulful rendition during their first dance, creating a magical atmosphere as Soso and Ebiere swayed together.
Adding glamour to the occasion, several celebrities graced the wedding party. Actress Peggy Ovire was among the elegant bridal train, while singer, Teni Apata, added flair to the groomsmen squad.
Known for his lavish hospitality, Soso pulled out all the stops to ensure guests had a memorable experience. Several private jets were deployed to convey high-profile guests, including 2Baba, Zlatan Ibile and his wife, Ini Edo, Iyabo Ojo and her daughter, Priscilla, Peruzzi, Shoday, among others, from Lagos to Delta State.
The wedding souvenirs also arrived in grand style, with their transportation via private jet adding to the excitement at the airport.
Upon arrival at the airport, guests were welcomed with a convoy of luxury vehicles, including Maybachs, Lamborghini Urus, Prado SUVs and Mercedes-Benz vans, as they were chauffeured through the city in a display of opulence.
Industry colleagues and friends described the event as “billionaire-level planning”, praising Soso’s reputation as a talent manager, producer and philanthropist.
