The presidential campaign of African Action Congress (AAC) candidate Omoyele Sowore has launched the SoworeNow mobile application as its official supporter platform for the 2027 general election.

Sowore announced the launch in a video posted on his official Instagram account, @yelesho, on Thursday.

The application, launched in July 2026, is designed to connect supporters, mobilise volunteers and coordinate grassroots campaign activities across the country ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Announcing the platform, Sowore urged Nigerians to join what he described as a movement for change.

He said: “Fellow Nigerians, real change begins with action and action begins with you.”

He added: “That is why we launched the SoworeNow app, with this app you can get verified campaign updates, you can join rallies and connect with other supporters to promote the movement.”

According to information released by the campaign, the application serves as a digital hub providing verified campaign updates, official statements and daily briefings on the 2027 movement.

It also features Movement AI, an artificial intelligence tool that allows users to ask questions about the campaign in multiple languages.

Supporters can use the application to locate campaign rallies, receive event reminders and interact with other verified supporters through a moderated community platform.

The platform also includes a peer-to-peer data support network that enables users to request internet data assistance from fellow supporters.

Other election-related features include tools for reporting alleged electoral malpractices, registering as polling unit agents and tracking live election collation.

For members of the African Action Congress, the application provides digital membership cards that can be accessed by linking an official AAC membership identification number.

Users are also able to earn points through regular engagement with the application under a gamified rewards system.

The campaign said: “The application is entirely free, contains no third-party tracking, and can be downloaded through the official mobile marketplaces.”
