TikTok Surprise: Lady Says Man Bought Her a Car After Just Two Weeks of Chatting

A woman identified as Miss Sandra has gone viral after claiming that a man she met on TikTok gifted her a car only two weeks after they started talking.

In a video circulating on social media, Sandra explained that she and the man connected on TikTok and quickly became friends. According to her, their conversations were mostly casual, and he often complained about how far apart they lived.

She recalled that during one chat, the man asked why she did not own a car. Sandra said she laughed and replied that buying a car was not something a person could simply walk into a shop and do without money.

The topic came up again when she experienced a banking issue that required her to visit her branch in Utako, Abuja. After checking the ride fare, which she said was nearly ₦13,000, she joked that she needed a car.

According to Sandra, the man then asked whether she wanted one. Believing he was joking, she responded that she would gladly accept a car if someone gave her one.

To her surprise, she said he called again two days later and asked what type of car she preferred. Since she knew little about cars, she reportedly told him any model would be fine.

Sandra said she still did not take the conversation seriously until the man later requested her home address, saying he wanted to send her a gift. Expecting something small such as doughnuts or ice cream, she was shocked when a delivery agent arrived with a vehicle.

“When I stepped outside, I saw a car,” she said. “The delivery man told me it was for me, and when I checked the documents, they had already been prepared in my name.”

Although she said she was initially excited and grateful, her feelings changed after speaking with friends and family. One friend immediately advised her to return the vehicle because she barely knew the man. Her mother and siblings reportedly gave the same advice, warning her against accepting such an expensive gift from someone she had known for only two weeks.

Sandra said she eventually called the man to thank him while explaining that she felt uncomfortable accepting the car.

According to her, he replied that he was not looking for a casual relationship and that his intention was to marry her. She claimed he said he was willing to wait and get to know her properly before taking the next step.

The unusual story has sparked intense debate online, with many social media users divided over whether she should keep the car or return it.
