Transfer: Cape Verde goalkeeper, Vozinha joins new club after World Cup

Cape Verde goalkeeper, Vozinha has signed a contract with Chilean club Colo Colo after the 2026 World Cup was concluded last weekend.
“Welcome. We’re waiting for you,” Colo Colo wrote on Friday on its social media pages.
Local media said Vozinha’s contract with Colo Colo was for 18 months.
The 40-year-old is expected to complete his medical and contract signing in the coming days.
Vozinha became one of the most talked-about players at the World Cup as he made several remarkable saves against Spain and Argentina.
His appearance at the World Cup has seen his social media accounts increase from just under 50,000 to nearly 29 million.
