Trump in major Strait of Hormuz U-turn as he warns Iran over 'path of total destruction'

Donald Trump has announced he has dropped plans announced yesterday to enforce a 20% toll on cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
The US President said he had decided to abandon the proposed “United States Reimbursement Fee” following what he described as “highly productive conversations” with Middle East leaders.
Instead of charging vessels passing through the strategic shipping route, Mr Trump said Gulf states would instead invest heavily in the United States through new trade and investment agreements.
