At Last, Fresh Video Showing How Some Of The Terrorists Was Arrested During Rescue Of Oyo Schoolchildren Emerged [WATCH HERE]

A fresh video which emerged on social media has shown some of the terrorists arrested during the rescue operation of the schoolchildren and teachers by security operatives in Oyo State.

TGM Reports that the video, which emerged on social media on Saturday, captures the activities of troops deployed as part of the tactical team of the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) during the rescue operation.

The troops on Friday, rescued the schoolchildren and teachers abducted from Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State after the victims had spent over fifty days in captivity.

The video was shared on 𝕏 by Deji Adesogan and shows some of the terrorists restrained by the troops after their arrest.

It would be recalled that the presidency confirmed that eight kidnappers were arrested, while others were neutralised during the rescue of all the teachers and pupils abducted in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.

Naijaonpoint Nigeria reports that the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced in a post via his 𝕏 handle on Friday.

Onanuga said the arrested kidnappers are currently in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS).

Meanwhile, President Tinubu on Friday, disclosed that the Ansaru terrorist group was responsible for the abduction of schoolchildren and teachers from Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The President made the revelation in a personally signed statement shortly after the presidency confirmed the safe rescue of the victims.

President Tinubu pointed out that Nigeria has a reason to give thanks over the safe rescue of the pupils and teachers.

He also saluted the security forces who, according to him, displayed courage, discipline and professionalism in ensuring the safe return of the victims.

The President vowed that Nigeria will not give in to terror, adding that the government will protect the people and ensure peace prevails across the country.
