Turkey: Mohamed Salah’s agent clears air on player joining Besiktas

Former Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, on Friday appeared to have rubbished reports that his client has agreed to join Besiktas.
Reports had earlier emerged that Salah had agreed terms with the Turkish Super Lig side.
Reacting to the development, Abbas Issa insisted that there is still no decision on Salah’s future, as he issued a rebuttal.
He wrote on X, “I personally do not know where Mohamed will play next season. What does that tell you?”
“It is not our style to have discussions with clubs that Mohamed wouldn’t want to play for, just for the sake of noise.”
Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season, and he also featured for Egypt at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
Egypt crashed out of the World Cup after losing to Argentina in the knockout stage.
