âI love smoking a lot. I tried to stop but I canâtâ â Omah Lay

Nigerian singer Omah Lay has opened up about his struggle to stop smoking, admitting that he has tried to quit but has been unable to.
Speaking in a recent conversation, the singer said he loves smoking and had previously tried to force himself to stop.
“I can’t even lie, I love smoking a lot, but I want, I try to stop. I want to stop. I fought myself,” he said.
Omah Lay explained that he has now decided not to put too much pressure on himself, arguing that life is short and everyone will eventually die.
He also spoke about smoking weed in Nigeria, where it is illegal, saying it can make young people feel like criminals and describing the happiness he gets from smoking as “artificial happiness.”
The singer added that he wants to enjoy his life and the things that bring him peace.
