Atiku Declares Readiness for 2027 Presidential Battle

African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has expressed confidence in his electoral prospects, asserting that his fitness, health and vitality position him to secure victory in the 2027 presidential contest.

Speaking during an interview, Atiku drew parallels to former United States President Abraham Lincoln, noting that repeated electoral setbacks preceded ultimate political success.

Atiku recounted his personal trajectory in Adamawa State politics, describing how he contested the governorship four successive times whilst military administrations annulled the electoral processes each occasion.

His persistence culminated in success at the fifth attempt, subsequently leading to his appointment as Vice President of Nigeria.

He characterised such repeated contests and losses as unremarkable within political practice, positioning his current presidential ambition within this historical continuum of perseverance and eventual triumph.
