Breaking: Osun 2026: Oyebamiji wins two more LGAs with slim margins

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Oyebamiji, has won two more local government areas with slim margins from the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission from Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.

Oyebamiji defeated the incumbent and candidate of Accord, Governor Ademola Adeleke, in the results released on Sunday morning.

The latest results were from Olaoluwa and Isokan LGAs.

The results were announced by the INEC Returning Officer and Vice Chancellor of Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Professor Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole,

Olaoluwa LGA

Accord: 10,063

AA: 24

AAC: 16

ADC: 213

ADP: 58

APC: 10,782.

Isokan LGA

Accord: 13,765

AA: 91

AAC: 59

ADC: 384

ADP: 98

APC: 14,063.
