A Ghanaian man has shared how he travelled all the way from the Volta Region to the Greater Accra Region, arriving days early with a “Ghana Must Go” bag, all in preparation to take full advantage of KFC’s GH¢15 15th Anniversary promotion.
Speaking about his journey, the man explained that he came all the way from the Volta Region days before the day of the promo to have his share before he returns.
“I came all the way from the Volta Region. I slept here on Thursday and Friday, waiting for the day of the KFC promo. Right after buying five here, I will move to other branches to get more,” he said in an interview he granted to a street blogger.
Since the policy for the promo is that one person cannot purchase more than 5, the young man said he will be moving from one branch to the other to have his bag filled.
His plan to hop between multiple KFC branches to maximise his purchases adds to a growing list of extraordinary stories emerging from the nationwide promotion, which has already seen massive queues, a customer purchasing 42 packs at once, and even an arrest at one outlet.
The man’s dedication has since drawn attention online, with many social media users reacting with amusement and admiration at the lengths he was willing to go to secure the discounted deal.
