Skit maker and content creator Carter Efe has given credit to Afrobeats star Davido for helping him earn the biggest money of his life.

He made the comments during a livestream, comparing Davido’s willingness to help with how other successful people refuse to share opportunities.

Carter said that when Davido jumped on one of his streams, he made huge money that night and instantly became wealthy.

He used it to contrast with other celebrities who he says are selfish and unwilling to let others benefit from their success.

Back in December 2025, Davido appeared on Carter’s Twitch livestream, which turned out to be a record-breaking moment for African streaming.

The stream pulled in more than 80,000 people watching at the same time.

That single appearance helped Carter gain over 139,000 new followers in one night, push him past 20,000 subscribers and made him the most-followed African streamer on the platform at that moment.
