Singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has dismissed the political prospects of the All Progressives Congress in the upcoming Osun State governorship election following the arrival of top ruling party leaders in Osogbo for a campaign mega rally.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and over ten state governors from the ruling party converged on the state capital ahead of Saturday’s poll. Key figures arriving for the event included Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.

Welcoming the delegation to the state, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, published a post on his official social media channel highlighting the arrival of the party leadership.

Davido, whose uncle Ademola Adeleke is the incumbent governor seeking re-election, reshared Oyetola’s post alongside a firm prediction of defeat for the opposition party.
