Indeed, you are not the first to take someone else

Actress Rita Edochie has confirmed she will be in court for the hearing of the defamation case that actress and co-wife Judy Austin filed against her.

Judy on Tuesday, July 11, shared copies of the court filings she made against Mrs. Edochie before an Abuja High Court. Among other things, Judy asked the court to order Rita to pay her N1 billion in damages.

In reaction to the lawsuit this morning, Rita said she will be in court on the 29th for the hearing. 

 

Responding to Nigerians who have criticized her for attacking Judy over her marriage to Yul, Rita said she indeed acknowledges that Judy isn’t the first to take someone else’s husband, but she ‘will be the first to face the consequences of her actions and contend with Karma.’
