Kano Pilgrims Board announces N7m as 2027 Hajj fare

The announcement was made by the Director-General of the board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim-Matawalle, in a statement signed by the service’s Public Relations Officer, Sulaiman Dederi, on Tuesday in Kano
According to the board, the deadline for the closure of registration for the pilgrimage remains Aug. 25, 2026.
“All intending pilgrims who are yet to submit their international passports should do so before the deadline.
“Adherence to the deadline is necessary to facilitate proper documentation and ensure smooth preparations for pilgrimage,” the board said.
The director-general advised intending pilgrims and other stakeholders to take note of the announcement and comply within the stipulated deadline.
The board, he said, is committed to providing efficient services to intending pilgrims and ensure smooth and successful Hajj operation.
