Man declared wanted for allegedly st@bbing only son of family to d3ath over palm fruit in Abia community

A suspect identified as Solomon Friday has been declared wanted by the police in connection with the m8rder of a young man in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was gathered that the young man identified as Chibunna, an only son of his parents, was st@bbed to d3ath over palm fruit.

A Facebook user, Ogochukwu Nwaokeoma, confirmed the incident in a post on Monday, August 17, 2026 said following the incident, some people from Ekwereazu, the deceased’s village, went to Umunkiri and burnt down a building in the village.

“The police have now reached out and confirmed that Solomon Friday is wanted,” he wrote.
