Man Shot Dead Inside Car as Police Launch Urgent Investigation in East London

Police have identified a man who was shot dead in east London as 42-year-old Masum Miah.
He was found wounded inside a car on St Bartholomew’s Road in East Ham early Tuesday morning after police received reports of gunshots around 3 a.m.
Despite efforts by paramedics to save him, Miah died at the scene.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, and police are still investigating.
Detectives are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who saw anything unusual to come forward.
They are also looking for dashcam footage, security camera recordings, or doorbell camera videos that might help with the investigation.
Police have offered support to Miah’s family as they deal with his death.
