Man with no trousers on ‘shoved carrot up his b^m’ and walked around with it in full view of public

A man left people “distressed” after they spotted him walking round a nature reserve with a carrot shoved up his bum.
The woman was strolling with her dogs on Two Tree Island, near Leigh-on-Sea, on March 9 when she noticed Tim Meehan without his trousers. She also noticed that he had a vegetable in his rectum.
Meehan, was in court on Thursday, August 27, with a suit jacket concealing his face. He only spoke to confirm his identity and confess to the act of grim public decency.
Basildon Magistrates’ Court heard the female witness was walking her dogs in the Essex countryside when she spotted the upper half of Meehan on the other side of a small hill. Prosecutor Sara Thompson stated the woman, who was alone, called her dogs back and “felt frightened”.
The woman then turned around and walked towards a main path where she saw Meehan once more.
Ms Thompson stated: “This time he had his back to her and something in his hand.”
“He then put it [the object] in his bum.”
The court was told a second witness instructed Meehan to pull his trousers back up.
A third person was alerted by the first dog walker about “an unusual male,” reports Essex Live.
District Judge King mentioned there was a suggestion Meehan “may have been intoxicated” during the nasty ordeal.
Two Tree Island is a favoured 259-hectare nature reserve situated next to the Thames Estuary in Leigh-on-Sea. It serves as a winter sanctuary for a range of ducks and other birds.
The District Judge stated: “You pled guilty to this straight away.
“That means your sentence will be reduced. A judge will take into account your early plea. Before a sentence is imposed, there will be a report prepared by the Probation Service. I will adjourn the case for that.”
Meehan, from Westcliff-on-Sea, is set to return to court in November for his sentencing.
