Miss World Nigeria 2026 Arrives Vietnam With Big Ambitions

Tamunosoye Karibi-George, the newly crowned Miss World Nigeria 2026, has headed to Vietnam to represent Nigeria at the current 73rd Miss World Festival.

Among the competitors from several nations vying for the title of Miss World is the 26-year-old from Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

After winning out of a field of twenty contestants, she was named Miss World Nigeria 2026 in the Federal Palace Hotel’s Balmoral Hall in Lagos.

Karibi-George is from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, although she competed for Bayelsa State.

Karibi-George, also referred to as Soye, has participated in activities and challenges with other participants throughout Vietnam in preparation for the pageant’s grand finale.

After completing her education at Obiye High School and Obiye Academy, she went on to study at Madonna University in Okija.

She is an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. She is well-known for her support of kids with special needs outside of pageants.

She is the creator of Beyond Labels, a program that supports empowerment, inclusion, and dignity for kids with exceptional needs.

Thru the project, she promotes chances that let kids grow and achieve their objectives.

Karibi-George won Miss Africa International 2024 in Accra, Ghana, before to becoming Miss World Nigeria 2026.

Joy Mojisola Raimi, who represented Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant in India and placed in the Top 20, was succeeded by her after she overcame 19 other competitors.

Karibi-George said the pageant was more than just a beauty pageant before her trip. On August 7, she posted on Facebook:

“With purpose in my heart, I depart Nigeria to represent our great nation at the 73rd Miss World Festival in Vietnam.”

There is more to this quest than just vying for the Blue Crown.

In addition to continuing to support the Beyond Labels Initiative and the conviction that every person should be recognized for their potential, it is about showcasing the resilience, compassion, strength, and culture of our country.

In closing, Karibi-George stated

She wrote, “Nigeria is coming, and Vietnam is calling.”

As competitors participate at various rounds of the tournament, the Miss World Nigeria 2026 delegate is now participating in the festival’s events in Vietnam.

Participants’ communication abilities, self-assurance, intelligence, purpose, and dedication to social concerns are evaluated.

Her involvement also provides her with a chance to highlight elements of Nigerian culture and identity during the pageant and to promote the Beyond Labels program.

Before the final, competitors in the 73rd Miss World Festival will compete in a number of competitions in Vietnam.

The focus of the competition will be on Miss World Nigeria 2026’s ability to represent Nigeria internationally while competing for the Blue Crown.
