Osun election: No political deal with Tinubu ? Adeleke?s camp replies Festus Keyamo after heÂremarked ?Agreement is agreement.?

The campaign council of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has refuted claims by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, clarifying that the governor has no political deal with President Bola Tinubu.

The denial was issued in a statement posted on X by the council’s spokesperson, Pelumi Olajengbesi.

According to the council, Adeleke’s support for Tinubu is driven by the President’s performance and economic reforms that strengthen states, rather than a pre-arranged political deal.

The statement responded to Keyamo’s congratulatory message following Adeleke’s re-election, in which the minister remarked, “Agreement is agreement.”

The comment sparked widespread reactions, with some interpreting it as evidence of a private pact between the governor and the President.

The council cautioned against undermining the resolve of the electorate following the August 15 governorship election.

“Do not undermine the resilience of Osun people. There is no agreement,” the council stated. “Our support for Tinubu is based on his performance and reforms that have strengthened states economically.”
