P-Square rift: DonJazzyâs father reaches out to Lola and Peter Okoye
As the rift between Peter Okoye, and his brothers, Paul and Jude, deepens, Collins Ajereh, the father of Mavin Records executive, Don Jazzy, has extended words of comfort to Peter Okoye and his wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, following fresh revelations.
The supportive gesture follows the release of the eighth installment of Peter’s ongoing “tell-all” video series. In the latest broadcast, a visibly emotional Peter wept while recounting historical family grievances surrounding his marriage.
Peter alleged that his brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, deeply insulted his wife during her first pregnancy, reportedly labeling their unborn son, Cameron, a bastard due to his disapproval of the relationship.
According to Peter, their late mother initially sided with Jude and Paul but later recanted. Before her passing, she reportedly urged both brothers to apologize to Peter—a request he claims was completely ignored. Peter also noted that Jude’s hostility culminated in his refusal to attend his traditional wedding to Lola.
Sending his love to Lola and Peter via his Instagram page, Mr Collins wrote
‘’Throwback to 2015 the day I prayed for @peterpsquare and @lolaomotayo_okoye. As a father, I am very sorry and emotional about all that has happened to this family. We love them so much. All the same, I thank God for their lives, sustenance, endurance, decorum, matrimonial bond and will continue to keep them in my prayers. Time is a great healer and may God take control of their circumstances. What can I say ? May all the tribulations pass away, God heal our broken hearts and grant peace to this family IJMN ‘’
