Digital creator Peller has shaved his head in solidarity with his newlywed wife, Jarvis, following the intense online backlash she received over her appearance.
Jarvis faced criticism and insults on social media after she appeared with a bald hairstyle following her white wedding in Lagos last Saturday.
In a video shared online, Peller filmed himself at a barbershop as he prepared to shave his own head, explaining that he wanted to surprise his wife by matching her hairstyle.
He said, “I want to barb skodo to surprise my wife. Because she barb skodo, everybody is abusing her and talking a lot about her.”
After getting the haircut, the content creator unveiled his new look to Jarvis, who appeared delighted by the gesture.
Peller’s act of support has attracted reactions online, with many praising him for standing by his wife amid the criticism.
