A 50-year-old single father has sparked mixed reactions online after sharing the kind of woman he wants to marry.

The man said he is a civil servant and has two children, a boy and a girl.

According to his Facebook post, he wants a mature woman between the ages of 45 and 50.

He said he would prefer a nurse, lawyer, senior military officer or high-ranking police officer.

The woman can be a widow or single mother, and her religion does not matter.

He wrote: “I am a 50 years old career civil servant and proud father of a boy and a girl in search of a matured lady for a serious relationship prefer a nurse, lawyer and a female military person from the rank of major or SP in the police. She must be in the range of 45 – 50 years.a widow or single mother , any religion. Only serious minded person. Pls no insult.”

His requirements divided social media users.

Some accused him of searching for a financially successful woman because of her money or position.

Others defended him, saying he has the right to choose the kind of partner he wants.
