Texas mom wanted for murd£ring her toddler nabbed in Mexico after nearly 30-years on the run

A Texas mom accused of k!lling her 3-year-old daughter by throwing her against a wall has been caught in Mexico after nearly 30 years on the run, officials announced.
Maria Narez, now 48, was accused of k!lling her daughter Kasandra White in November 1996 by shaking, beating and then throwing her in her Fort Worth home.
The then-teen mom was indicted by a grand jury the following year, but vanished after a judge lowered her bond to $25,000, according to court documents reviewed by Fox 4.
A warrant was issued for her arrest in 1997 after her bond was forfeited and she fled across the border, where she hid out for almost 30 years.
âThe DAâs office never gave up on bringing Narez back to face the charge against her and answer for the d£ath of her daughter,â the countyâs District Attorneyâs office said in a statement.
Additional details about where she was arrested and what she had been doing for the last 29 years were not immediately available.
Narez was a 19-year-old grocery store clerk in 1996 when she allegedly tossed the child after she refused to go to bed, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
She told investigators she was feeling depressed and stressed when she snapped.
âIt angered her. She picked the baby up by the chest under her arms, threw her against the wall and her head struck the door edge,â Fort Worth Police Department Sergeant Fred Pendergraf told the paper at the time.
The toddler complained that she was hurt but went to bed. Narez was arrested when she then took her daughter to the hospital, where the toddler lost consciousness and eventually di£d.
Narez is due to be extradited to Tarrant County from Mexico to face capital murd£r charges.
The DAâs office thanked Mexico Interpol, the U.S. Marshals Mexico Foreign Field Office, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Justice-Office of International Affairs, DA Investigators Tiffany Johnson and Victor Espino-Nevarez, and Assistant DA Steven Elliott for their work in capturing Narez.
