The joint force included the ONSA Tactical Team and newly deployed troops from 226 Battalion in Sector 4.
The operation took place on Thursday, August 27 in the Kopre Mountain area, following intelligence reports about t3rrorist activity in the region.
The troops moved stealthily through the difficult terrain before launching a precision att@ck on the t3rrorists’ camp in the early morning hours.
The soldiers engaged the t3rrorists in two separate battles, resulting in the d£ath of more than 21 t3rrorists. Several others escaped with gunshot injuries.
