Trump kisses gold Jesus as AI dump draws scorn: ‘Now I need brain bleach’

President Donald Trump kissed a golden Jesus Saturday in a bizarre AI-generated dump of images on his social media site.

Trump’s Truth Social posts included pictures of him kissing the gold cross in front of an American flag as well as recycled posts showing him peeking over a mountain at Greenland.

Another featuring a map of South America with Venezuela colored over with an American flag and a header reading “51st State.”

The image dump quickly drew scorn.

“Grandpa is hallucinating again,” journalist Aaron Rupar wrote in an X post reacting to Trump’s latest series of AI images, which included images of gold Abraham Lincoln statues, among other oddities.

“So I just went over to check @realDonaldTrump on Truth Social and now I need brain bleach,” added Kathleen Tyson. “James Waterman Wise — ‘When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.’”

“It’s bad enough when Donald Trump slobbers over the American flag,” replied Bill Addis on Bsky. “Of course, the cross and Jesus are all gold. That’s what Trump worships, not Jesus. This depiction is just unforgivable.”

Even as the scorn mounted, Trump continued to post.

One post was an image of George Washington’s face split in half, with Trump’s face covering the other half and “250 YEARS: IN GOD WE TRUST” written overhead.

Another post depicted Trump as a shouting Revolutionary War commander in front of soldiers raising bayoneted rifles and an American flag over a smoky battlefield.

Yet another showed a young Donald Trump in his military school garb sitting across from an older Trump, who seemed to stare admiringly at the younger one. Overhead, it read, “Same Guy. Even more energy now!”

One of the few images that didn’t seem to be AI-generated came in a post that had “President Trump ages in reverse!” over a photo of Trump with the top of his button-up shirt undone while he walked through a golf course.

“What happened to Bruce Springsteen,” read another post, which featured a close-up image of the rock legend that seemed to exaggerate his freckles and wrinkles.

Another read “Only Trump” with an image of Trump staring sternly forward, though it left unclear what it meant by “Only Trump.”
