Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has voiced confidence that President Bola Tinubu will win Kaduna State by a landslide in the 2027 presidential election, claiming that the outcome is already set.

The governor made the statements on Tuesday at the start of the 122-kilometre Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road project, where he also hailed the President for what he characterized as unprecedented investment in Northern Nigeria.

According to Sani, Kaduna remains the political and economic center of the North, and the state’s progress helps the entire region.

“I want to assure you that Kaduna is the capital of Northern Nigeria. Everyone is proud of Kaduna. “Whether we like it or not, Kaduna’s development affects all of Northern Nigeria’s states,” he stated.

The governor praised Tinubu for acknowledging Kaduna’s strategic importance and vowed his continuing political support for the President.

“So, we’re happy. We thank the president for recognizing Kaduna as the heart of Northern Nigeria. We will continue to demonstrate our support. “We will continue to support the president.”

Sani went on to predict Tinubu’s spectacular electoral victory in the state, estimating that the President will receive at least 95% of the votes cast in Kaduna.

“I have no doubt that the 2027 election has been concluded. I have no doubt that we will give Mr. President at least 95% of the total votes. There is no doubt about it, and I stand ready to be challenged he declared.

The governor also maintained his prior claim that no Nigerian president had carried out as many development projects in Northern Nigeria as Tinubu.

In a remark made roughly two months ago, Sani stated that no one could contest his appraisal of the President’s performance in the region.

“When about two months ago, I came out boldly and I said, ‘No president in the history of Nigeria has done what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done for us here in Northern Nigeria,’ and I challenged everyone to come up with anything contrary to what I’ve said,” he continued.

He stated that various projects now underway in the North reflect Tinubu’s commitment to the region and questioned why previous governments failed to implement similar interventions.

“Why didn’t other leaders do what President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing now for Northern Nigeria?” Was Northern Nigeria not a priority, or was it not their concern?” Sani asked.

He ended by thanking the President “for the love of the North, for the love of humanity, and for the love of progress.”
