Why would you post yourself on my page? I wanted to keep our relationship private – Nigerian lady berates her man for posting photos of himself on her social media page

A video capturing a heated dispute between an Ondo State-based man and his partner has sparked widespread conversation across social media platforms after the woman strongly rebuked him for sharing his photograph on her personal account.

In the footage, which has fast gone viral, the visibly upset woman can be heard reprimanding her partner for disregarding her boundaries. She emphasized that she has consistently maintained a strict stance on keeping their relationship private, stating that his decision to post the image directly violated her wishes.

‘’You don’t have to post yourself on my page. You don’t have to do that. I have brands I am working with. I have people that are looking up to me. Why would you do that? Why does everyone have to know that we are dating?”

 

Despite the man later removing the post, the woman revealed that her followers and friends had already taken screenshots and forwarded them to her on WhatsApp.

As a result, she announced her intention to issue a public disclaimer on her social media pages claiming the boyfriend’s post was merely “content” rather than a real relationship update. She argued that she had already informed him that she would decide the appropriate time to make their romance public, delivering a stark ultimatum: “If you don’t want it to be private, I am done.”

The boyfriend appeared visibly startled by her decision and fired back by listing the financial contributions he had made to the relationship. He questioned why she still wanted to keep him hidden from public view despite him paying her house rent, fixing her mobile phone, and buying her expensive human hair extensions.
