‘Nothing Will Change If Peter Obi Becomes President’ – Shehu Sani

Former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani, has asserted that everything in the country will remain the same if the former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, becomes president of Nigeria.

Naija News reports that Sani disclosed this while featuring on the ‘Honest Bunch’ Podcast, stating that Peter Obi’s support is tribal and his supporters come from his ethnic background.

According to the former lawmaker, Peter Obi, President Bola Tinubu, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, and former President, Olusegun Obasanjo share the same political ideology and way of thinking.

He said, “The support for Peter Obi is tribal; many of the people supporting him are people who come from his ethnic background.

“If Obi becomes the President of Nigeria today, nothing changes, everything remains the same.

“Peter Obi, Obasanjo, Atiku, and Tinubu are the same people who come from the same ideological perspective, they all believe and subscribe to the same thinking. Tinubu will win the 2027 election.

“When Buhari was in power, the North was quiet while people were being slaughtered, people were being kidnapped, and insecurity was everywhere.

“When I was in the Senate, each time I stood up to speak about the killings and kidnappings of my people, the first attack I got was from Northern senators.”
