2027: Ex-Ondo APC chair, Adetimehin, mobilises thousands in show of support for Tinubu

Former Ondo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Engineer Ade Adetimehin, on Saturday led a large mobilisation of party members in solidarity with President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event drew thousands of APC faithful from across Ondo and neighbouring states. Supporters gathered in large numbers, chanting pro-Tinubu slogans and displaying banners endorsing the president for a second term.

Party leaders at the gathering described it as a reaffirmation of confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and the policies introduced since he assumed office.

They said that despite the country’s economic challenges, the president had remained committed to reforms aimed at stabilising the economy, improving infrastructure, and strengthening national development.

Speaking at the event, Adetimehin said APC members remained resolute in their support for Tinubu and argued that he deserved another term to fully implement his programmes.

Adetimehin said that ” The turnout reflects the growing acceptance of Tinubu’s leadership among party members and ordinary Nigerians,” he said.

According to him, the APC in Ondo State would continue working with stakeholders nationwide to secure victory for the president in 2027.

He urged party loyalists to stay united and avoid actions that could cause division ahead of the election season.

The former state party chairman also commended party executives, youth groups, and women’s associations for their commitment to the APC, saying the turnout showed the party’s strength and structure at the grassroots level.

“We believe President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves another term considering the reforms and developmental projects currently being executed across the country,” Adetimehin said.

“This is not the time for division within our party. Unity is critical as the APC navigates its primary elections in Ondo State and prepares for future contests.

“The administration has taken bold steps to reposition the economy and improve infrastructure, and these efforts require continuity to achieve lasting results.”

He called on stakeholders and loyal members to remain calm, focused, and committed to the progress of the APC in Ondo State.

“The APC remains one family, and we must continue to work together to ensure peaceful and successful primary elections across the state.

“This mobilisation reflects the confidence party faithful still have in President Tinubu’s leadership and the direction of his administration,” he said.
