APC commences distribution of sensitive materials in Nasarawa North Reps primary

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has begun the distribution of election materials for the House of Representatives primary election in the Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency of Nasarawa State.

The exercise is being supervised by a delegation from the party’s National Secretariat led by Abubakar Billy Tafawa Balewa, who assured party members that the process would be conducted in a peaceful, transparent, and credible manner.

Balewa stated that the party remained committed to ensuring a fair primary election capable of producing an acceptable candidate for the 2027 general elections.

Sources within the party disclosed that electoral materials were already being moved to various wards across Akwanga Local Government Area and other parts of the federal constituency ahead of the commencement of voting.

Earlier, the APC national delegation was received in Akwanga by the Executive Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Council, Safiyanu Isa Andaha, alongside the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Yakubu Kwanta.

Party officials said voting would begin immediately in designated polling centres once the distribution process is completed.
