APC governorship primary: Sanwo-Olu, wife participate

Governor of Lagos State,  Babajide Sanwo-Olu  and his wife, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu on Thursday participated in the Lagos APC Governorship Primaries held at their ward, Ward E3, Eiyekole, St Stephen School, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island.

The Governor and his wife joined the queue to vote and affirm the candidature of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Obafemi Kadiri Hamzat.

Hamzat is the sole aspirant as the Lagos APC Governorship candidate for the 2027 elections.

The turnout was massive at the Governor’s Ward, where party members from the ward affirmed their votes and support in large numbers for  Hamzat as the APC Lagos candidate and the next Governor of Lagos State.
