2027: Give Tinubu your support, Gov. Yusuf urges Kano residents

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has called on residents to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu, saying he deserves strong backing for his commitment to the state and the country.
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, on Wednesday in Kano.
Dawakin-Tofa quoted Yusuf as making the call in Kano while presenting the Certificate of Return to the newly elected member for Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo.
The governor said Kano State had reason to stand firmly behind Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said the working relationship between the Kano State Government and the Federal Government had yielded positive results, and commended Tinubu for supporting critical infrastructure and development projects in the state.
Yusuf described Tinubu as a leader committed to national unity and progress and urged political leaders and stakeholders to remain united and strengthen the partnership between Kano and Abuja.
He congratulated Nagogo on his victory and expressed confidence that he would provide effective representation for Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with the Federal Government to advance policies and programmes aimed at improving citizens’ lives.
