Actress Judy Austin addresses claims about relationship with Yul Edochie, says she met actor years after her marriage ended

Actress Judy Austin has responded to allegations surrounding her relationship with actor Yul Edochie, insisting that she met him years after her marriage had ended.

In a video shared on Instagram, Judy said she first met Yul on a movie set in 2016 and dismissed claims that he played any role in the breakdown of her previous marriage.

According to her, the executive producer and other crew members from the production are still alive and can confirm when she first met the actor.

She also accused her former husband, Emmanuel Obasi, of making false claims against her and contradicting himself over the years.

Judy questioned allegations that Yul was keeping Obasi’s children from him, arguing that he had at various times made conflicting statements about the matter.

The actress maintained that she never denied Obasi access to their children and claimed he made little effort to remain involved in their lives.

She further alleged that Yul has helped raise and support her children, describing him as a father figure who has provided for them, paid school fees and cared for their welfare.

Judy also warned bloggers and content creators against publishing unverified claims about her and Yul, saying those spreading false information would be held accountable.

“I met him three years after my marriage ended and that is not a crime,” she said.

She concluded by saying that the issues raised against her would be addressed in court and urged people to stop attacking Yul over the controversy.
