Kano Govt hails Nigerian Navy Logistics College for producing skilled personnel

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano has congratulated the graduating officers and ratings of the Nigerian Navy Logistics College on the successful completion of their respective courses.

Speaking at the Combined Graduation Ceremony of the Logistics Officers Basic Course 37, Petty Officers/Leading Seamen Course Batch 48, Basic Qualifying Course Batch 56, and Basic Project Qualifying Course 04, held at the Nigerian Navy Logistics College, the Deputy Governor, Murtala Garo, who represented Mr Yusuf, commended the Nigerian Navy for its commitment to professionalism, discipline, capacity building, and national service.

Mr Garo noted that the successful completion of the various courses reflects the dedication of the Nigerian Navy to developing highly skilled personnel capable of effectively managing logistics operations and supporting national security objectives.

He emphasized that the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf recognizes the critical role of the Armed Forces, particularly the Nigerian Navy, in safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity, protecting strategic national assets, and promoting peace and stability across the country.

He urged the graduating officers and ratings to uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, loyalty, and patriotism in the discharge of their duties, stressing that the knowledge and skills acquired during the training should be applied towards enhancing operational effectiveness and strengthening the nation’s security architecture.

On behalf of the governor, the Government and people of Kano State, the deputy governor congratulated the graduates, their instructors, and the management of the Nigerian Navy Logistics College for the successful conduct of the programmes.

He reaffirmed Kano State Government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote security, human capital development, and national unity, while wishing the graduates greater success in their future assignments and careers.

In his remarks, the Commandant of the College, Commodore AA Madawaki extended his appreciation to the governor and the good people of Kano State for providing the hospitable environment for the training exercise.

He noted that the trainings are not end in themselves, but important instrument designed to shape the character of the officers and guide their future professional conduct and decision-making.

Mr Madawaki further charged the graduants to be exemplary personnel and worthy ambassadors of the college.
