MTN takes Live it 100 tour across varsities

MTN Nigeria has unveiled the 2026 edition of its flagship student engagement initiative, the MTN Live it 100 Campus Tour, a nationwide programme designed to empower students through learning, creativity, entertainment and digital opportunities.
The telecommunications company said the tour would visit seven tertiary institutions across the South-West, North-West, South-East, South-South and North-Central regions between June and November 2026.
According to MTN, the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to support young Nigerians by creating meaningful experiences that align with their aspirations, interests and lifestyles.
Speaking on the programme, MTN Nigeria’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, said tour was created to provide students with opportunities to learn, connect, express themselves and enjoy memorable experiences while remaining connected to the digital world.
“Young Nigerians are shaping the future of our digital economy, and we want to create platforms that help them learn, create, connect and thrive. This tour reflects our commitment to supporting students beyond connectivity by providing experiences that inspire innovation, creativity and personal growth,” she said.
According to a statement shared with Saturday Beats, the three-day activation will feature a range of activities tailored to student interests, spanning digital learning, creativity, entertainment and rewards.
Activities on the opening day will include a Digital Game Village featuring video games, board games, silent party experiences, food and drinks, immersive photo opportunities, SME showcases, product demonstrations, device displays, as well as SIM registration and sales points.
On the second day, students will participate in a Content Creation Forum aimed at helping aspiring creators learn how to produce high-quality digital content using mobile devices and explore ways of monetising their creative work.
The day will conclude with a Cinema Experience, where students will vote for and watch their preferred movie.
The final day will feature a surprise celebrity appearance and live performance, alongside social media engagement activities. MTN also announced that a lucky student would win a brand-new car during the tour.
