Nigerian man gifts house to his uncle for accommodating him when he first arrived in Makurdi

A Nigerian man, David Aondofa, has built and gifted a house to his uncle as a token of appreciation for accommodating him when he first arrived in Makurdi, Benue State.
Sharing photos of the house in a Facebook post on Thursday, June 18, 2026, David acknowledged his uncle’s support and kindness, saying he treated him well unlike “other older brothers.”
“This is my gift to the family of David Jija, my uncle, the man who accommodated me when I first came to Makurdi,” he wrote.
“This is appreciation to you sir. I am grateful that you did not discriminate me like other older brothers.
“I don’t have much but this is my own little way of saying thank you. I know now you have retired from work you will be collecting rent and be taking care of yourself. Once again I am grateful sir. Thank you so much.”
