Speaker Abbas felicitates Emir of Zazzau Bamalli on 60th birthday, hails reign of peace and unity

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated the Emir of Zazzau, His Royal Highness Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, on his 60th birthday, describing his reign as one marked by peace, unity and prosperity.

In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, June 8, 2026, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, Speaker Abbas, who holds the traditional title of Iyan Zazzau, said the Emir’s leadership has brought development to the Zazzau Emirate and beyond.

The Speaker noted that Emir Bamalli has been leading with deep cultural and administrative experience, adding that his quality leadership is felt within and outside Kaduna State. He described the monarch as a revered royal father whose support and blessings have continued to inspire many within and outside the emirate.

“Noting that the Emir of Zazzau has an impeccable character as a former diplomat, Speaker Abbas said the Emir’s admirable reign has been largely inspired by his wealth of experience from public service,” the statement read.

“I join our well-meaning people of Zaria and Kaduna State to rejoice with His Royal Highness, Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, CFR, on the auspicious occasion of his 60th birthday. As a royal father, Amb. Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli has demonstrated uncommon leadership by uniting the people of Zaria and Kaduna State,” Speaker Abbas said.

The Speaker prayed to Allah to continue to bless, guide and guard the Emir, wishing him many more years of peace and prosperity.

Emir Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Thailand, ascended the throne of the Zazzau Emirate in 2020.
