Stade shooting LIVE: 'Multiple people dead' after 'gunshots fired' in German city

Multiple people are reportedly dead after a shooting in Stade, Germany, on Monday. A major police operation is under way in the Lower Saxony city after officers responded to reports of multiple shots being fired.
Police have described the incident as a “dynamic” situation and urged people to stay away from the area. According to German outlet t-online, citing a police spokesperson, up to five people have been killed. The spokesperson also said several arrests have been made, including the suspected gunman, although no further details have been released. German broadcaster RTL, citing police sources, reported the shooting took place at a youth facility. The motive for the attack remains unclear and investigations are continuing.
