TheBurntPeanut finally reveals Fortnite crossover after weeks of rumors

This Video Is Trending Right Now
After weeks of rumors and online discussions, popular streamer TheBurntPeanut has finally confirmed that he is part of a Fortnite crossover. Fans first started talking about the possible collaboration at the end of May when Epic Games showed off content from Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. Many players noticed a small peanut-like character that looked very similar to TheBurntPeanut, leading to speculation across social media. The streamer initially denied knowing anything about the crossover and even joked about the situation. This caused more discussion among fans, especially because some players were unhappy about the possible collaboration. Now that the new season is live, TheBurntPeanut has officially revealed that the crossover is real, putting an end to weeks of questions and rumors from the Fortnite community.
TheBurntPeanut confirms Fortnite collab as rare in-game Sprite
During a recent livestream, TheBurntPeanut jokingly told viewers that nobody knew what he was about to say before confirming that he was officially in Fortnite. However, players looking for a traditional skin may be surprised. Instead of appearing as a playable character, TheBurntPeanut has been added to the game as a special Sprite companion.Players can find the Sprite in several ways. It may appear from regular Chests, purple Sprite Chests, or while walking around different areas of the map. This item can be acquired by killing players that already own the Sprite. TheSprite, however, can be quite difficult to find since the drop rate for TheBurntPeanut Sprite is only 1.5%. This makes it one of the rarest Sprites currently found in Fortnite. The rare buddy gives an interesting advantage in gameplay. It gives players more rewards when they kill enemies. The rewards may include some Mythic weapons, making the Sprite very valuable while playing. After acquiring the rare Sprite, one must head to an Extraction Site located on the map. Activating the site creates an Extraction Crate where Sprites can be safely stored. After being extracted, the Sprite can be brought back into future matches. It can also pilot the mech skin unlocked through the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass, giving players an experience that feels similar to having a Peanut-themed skin. The confirmation finally settles weeks of speculation surrounding the crossover. While TheBurntPeanut may not have received a traditional Fortnite skin, his rare Sprite companion has officially made him part of the game’s growing list of collaborations.
