Umu bingo. Fowl! – Davido mocks Reno Omokri over interview explaining his delayed resumption as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Mexico

Davido took to his IG page this morning to throw jabs at Reno Omokri. He shared a clip from an interview Reno Omokri had with Channels TV explaining why he has yet to resume as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Mexico. President Tinubu on March 6 posted Reno Omokri to Mexico as a Non-Career ambassador. 

Singer,? Davido has openly taunted Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Mexico, Reno Omokri, over his delayed resumption of diplomatic duties. 

Taking to his Instagram page, Davido shared an excerpt of Omokri’s recent interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today. In the broadcast, Omokri dismissed rumors that the Mexican government rejected his appointment, claiming instead that his resumption is temporarily delayed because Mexico is currently co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 

Reacting to the clip, Davido wrote;

‘’UMU BINGO renoomokri fowl”

Reno is yet to respond.

Omokri was officially posted to Mexico as a non-career ambassador by President Bola Tinubu in March 2026.
