Exactly one month after bandits invaded three schools in the Oriire Local Government Area of Ogbomosho, Oyo State, the academic community continues to mourn the tragic loss of a veteran educator while awaiting news on 45 abducted students and teachers. The coordinated assault, which took place exactly one month ago today, took a fatal turn at the Local Authority (LA) Primary School in Ahoro Esiele. Bandits fatally shot Joel Adesiyan, a dedicated teacher at the institution, before fleeing with dozens of hostages.
