Burna Boy's Mum Urges Him to Marry and Have Children at Birthday Celebration

Burna Boy’s mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, has advised the singer to consider settling down and having children.

The talent manager gave the advice while celebrating Burna Boy’s 35th birthday with close friends and family on July 2.

In a clip from the event shared by one of Burna Boy’s associates, Richie 7, via social media.

Mrs Ogulu is heard urging Burna Boy to include a “good wife and children” while the singer was making his birthday wishes.

The singer had said he wished for good health and prosperity when asked to make a wish, prompting his mother to add that he should also wish for a good wife and children.

An online news platform recalls that Burna Boy revealed in an interview a few years ago that he remains unmarried and childless because he does not currently have the time to commit to family life.

He explained that he does not want to have children out of wedlock, or have children without being fully present in their lives, given his busy schedule as a musician at the peak of his career.
