A woman has warmed hearts on social media after sharing how her father stood by her and cared for her following the end of her marriage.
The woman, who posts on TikTok as @Nayathegorgeous, recounted how her father welcomed her home with love and compassion after her divorce, despite the family facing public scrutiny.
According to her, her father is a well-known and highly respected figure in their community, and she feared that the breakdown of her marriage would tarnish the family’s reputation.
After leaving her marriage with her baby, she temporarily stayed at a friend’s house. She recalled that her uncle later arrived with a message from her father, asking her to come back home.
When she returned, she said her father embraced her warmly, hugged her and kissed her on the forehead, reassuring her that she was welcome.
The woman explained that from that moment on, her father took it upon himself to care for both her and her child.
She said he would check on her every morning, prepare meals for her, and often take care of her baby so she could have time to rest and recover emotionally.
According to her, he constantly made sure she was coping well and regularly asked how she was feeling, doing everything possible to prevent her from falling into depression.
She also revealed that although she frequently disagrees with her father as his first daughter, his unwavering love and support have never been in doubt.
The TikToker added that her father’s kindness extends to all of his children, describing him as a devoted parent who always puts his family first.
She credited him with making life as a single mother much easier, saying many people are surprised to learn she is raising a child alone because her father ensures that she never lacks support or carries her burdens by herself.
