Fourth batch of Nigerians evacuated from South Africa arrive Nigeria


The fourth batch of Nigerians evacuated from South Africa arrived at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos State, today, July 10.
The 282 Nigerians arrived on a chartered Air Peace flight. This brings the total number of Nigerians repatriated from South Africa since the evacuation flights began on June 11 to 1,141.
Over 1,000 Nigerians were said to have indicated interest in returning home following renewed anti-immigrant protests by South Africans.
The Last batch of returnees will arrive in Nigeria next week.
