Muslim professional group greets member over election as MULAN President 

An association of Muslim Men in business and the professions, The Companion, has congratulated one of its members, Barr Hassan Fajimite, on his election as the President of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria.

This is contained in a press statement signed by the group’s National Amir, Imam Nojeem Jimoh and Publicity Secretary, Prof. Tunde Akanni, on Saturday.

The Companion stated that Fajimite’s emergence as the leader of this prestigious professional body is a fitting recognition given his unwavering commitment to the legal profession, exemplary integrity, distinguished service to Islam, and consistent contributions to nation-building.

“We are delighted that your colleagues have entrusted you with this important responsibility at this critical time” said the statement.

It said further, as an esteemed member of The Companion, the new MULAN leader has consistently demonstrated the values of excellence, professionalism, humility, and selfless service, which our association holds dear. 

The Companion affirmed that it is confident that under the new  leader, MULAN will continue to advance the cause of justice, promote ethical legal practice, strengthen the welfare of Muslim lawyers, and contribute meaningfully to the development of Nigeria.
