Nigerian Man Sparks Debate After Revealing Foreigner Was Denied Nigeria Visa

A UK-based Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after claiming he recently discovered that Nigeria also denies visa applications to foreigners.

According to him, he made the discovery after meeting a Kenyan woman living in the United Kingdom who allegedly complained that her Nigerian visa application had been rejected twice.

He recounted that the woman, who has Nigerian friends, had hoped to visit Nigeria during the Christmas season to explore the country and spend time with them, but her application was turned down on two separate occasions.

The man said the Kenyan woman became emotional while narrating her experience, expressing surprise that it was difficult to obtain a Nigerian visa.

He recalled asking her whether she was aware it was specifically Nigeria she was trying to enter, to which she confirmed, prompting him to jokingly point out that Nigeria, being one of the biggest countries in Africa, is often difficult to gain entry into.

He added that she remained hopeful and intended to apply for the visa a third time.

Concluding his story, the man told Nigerians to be proud that their country also rejects visa applications from foreigners.

His comments have since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing their opinions and personal experiences about Nigeria’s visa application process.
