NSCDC Adamawa gets new commandant

The Adamawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has a new commandant in the person of Nasiru Saleh.
Saleh takes over from Commandant Idris Bande.
Speaking shortly after taking over the mantle, the new State Commandant expressed gratitude to the Commandant General, NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for entrusting him with the Adamawa State Command.
He pledged to consolidate on the achievements of his predecessor by strengthening operational effectiveness, enhancing intelligence-driven policing, safeguarding Critical National Assets, promoting personnel welfare, and deepening community engagement.
The state command Public Relation Officer, Amidu Baba, said in a statement to newsmen in Yola that
Nasiru Saleh had served the NSCDC in several operational and administrative capacities across various Commands prior to his appointment as the 16th Commandant of the NSCDC in Adamawa State.
